Projects
Erikka's work sits at the intersection of technical execution and human-centered communication—building tools. Whether she's automating away repetitive developer tasks, designing fullstack applications, or translating complex systems into accessible documentation, she aims to bridge the gap between what users need and what technology can deliver.
Web Migration Automation Tool
Built an internal CLI tool and Python generator library to automate Modern Campus CMS snippet creation and migration, reducing manual formatting work. Leveraged AI-assisted development to rapidly prototype and iterate, enabling on-time delivery of 189 websites across 130 university departments. Read a university write-up about the migration.
Fullstack Museum App
A responsive full-stack web app that enables art enthusiasts to discover museums, art collections, and audio guide tours online. Built as the capstone project for Hackbright Academy's Software Engineering Fellowship. View case study.
Univ. of Houston CMS Technical Documentation Hub
A comprehensive 20-page documentation hub for University of Houston's Modern Campus CMS. Used AI to synthesize stakeholder feedback and rapidly draft content, making it available to 300+ university users. She leads university-wide monthly training on web accessibility and how to use CMS.
